This client wanted to not only modernize their kitchen but make it more functional to their entertainment lifestyle. They wanted a more masculine aesthetic and achieved it through dark colored cabinets and natural wood mixed throughout. They also wanted easy maintenance, which we achieved by incorporating slab backsplashes throughout the space and fluted glass instead of clear to make those cabinets more functional. We also included lots of integrated lighting so they could set the mood of their kitchen whether they were hard at work creating an intricate dinner or entertaining guests while sipping on wine.
In addition to the new kitchen, we wanted to create the ultimate entertainment space for the client. For the bar, we took inspiration from speakeasies and incorporated that feel through darker finishes, a wood herringbone ceiling, and integrated lighting. We incorporated drawer dishwashers, an ice maker, a beverage center, and a prep sink so everything needed from party prep to clean-up was carefully thought through.
