This 5,900-square-foot lakefront residence, originally built in 1962. We renovated the entire home and built a dramatic four-story rear addition. We significantly expanded this home’s footprint to better capture lake views and support modern living. A central goal of the project was balance: preserving select original elements that honored the home’s history, while seamlessly integrating contemporary design and state-of-the-art smart home technology. The result is a residence that respects its roots yet functions as a thoroughly modern home specified to our client’s wants and needs. Thoughtful detailing, precision craftsmanship, and careful coordination were essential in blending old and new into a cohesive whole—delivering a timeless lakefront home designed for the way the homeowners live today.
