This client tasked us with making their kitchen more functional and to make it feel more masculine. We cut back a wall in the kitchen to open it up to the living room, added in a 10’ slider to open it to the brand new covered patio, added windows on either side of the range, and moved the range from the island to the perimeter cabinet. To add character and make a statement, we ran full height quartz all the way to the ceiling, added in rustic beams, and incorporated an antler chandelier over the island to tie into the buffalo head the client had hanging on his fireplace. We also added fun features to make the space more functional such as an integrated ice maker and a dog water station.
